La Petite Bride Look Book:
Foliage is your new best friend when it comes to decoration, whether its table décor, chairs, cake or even head dresses… it’s everywhere! Still not convinced, the king of colours, Pantone, released their ‘colour of the year’ for 2017 only a few weeks back and yep, you guessed it… it’s GREENERY! For more inspiration on colour schemes follow our Pinterest page here.
This was my favourite ‘Home’ trend in 2016 and now it’s worked its way onto the top wedding trends for 2017. Modern, minimalistic and metallics make this one of the hottest wedding trends guaranteed to make a statement in any wedding; spring, summer or winter!
Dresses with Capes:
Fresh off the runway is a little more of a quirky creation; it’s the rise of the wedding cape. Yes you heard me correctly! A far cry from any super hero, these delicate creations are fast becoming the hottest accessory. In replace of the traditional veil, the wedding cape oozes sophistication and gives even the most traditional wedding dress a modern edge.
Drip Wedding Cakes:
When it comes to cakes this is fast becoming one of my most loved trends for 2017. They just look so delicious and who doesn’t love cake! These beauties make the perfect showstopper to any dessert table.
A new found love, Gin is never going out of fashion but one of our hottest trends (a popular choice for years in the USA) is ‘DIY bars’. Whatever your favourite tipple may be (think Gins, Whiskys, even Tequila) these bespoke specialty bars keep the drinks flowing and add a little personal touch into the evening reception, allowing guest to sample some of the couples favourite drinks.
Last year was full of ‘undone bouquets’, beautifully wild & whimsical, but this year it’s had a little update and it’s all about incorporating these lovely little succulents. They’re the perfect addition to any floral display, all year round.
