Valentine’s Day Proposal Idea
It is no surprise that Valentine’s Day is one of the most popular days of the year to propose. It is a day that is already well-known for being romantic and if you’re in a couple you will most likely be spending the day with your significant other anyway. Here at Le Petit Chateau, we have some great proposal ideas if you’re thinking about popping the questions on Valentines Day…
Propose in front of a crowd
There’s nothing better than planning a proposal in front of a crowd of people. If you’re going to the theatre then why not call up in advance to see if you can do your proposal on stage. The stage manager should be able to help you plan this with added theatrical emphasis to make the best possible impression.
Don’t let your nerves get the better of you! If you’re proposing in front of a group of people that you don’t know then chances are you will get nervous, but it is important to not let that show! Just remember why you’re doing this and it should help calm you down.
Discover the ring somewhere unexpected!
We have all seen this happen in films. Where the partner will ask a restaurant to pop the ring in a dessert and then their significant other finds it. However, you can always do this in the comfort of your own home! Put the ring somewhere common in your house, somewhere where you know your partner will check. Either hide the ring itself or have a little note saying ‘Will You Marry Me?’.
This is similar to discovering the ring somewhere, as you can do this in your own home as well. So if you’re not the PDA type then this could be for you! Make an album of pictures of the two of you – similar to a scrapbook, then on the last page you could write “How about marriage?’. And then this serves as a memory keepsake for the both of you.
On the radio
Many people forget that radio proposals are a thing! If your significant other listens to a particular radio station every day then this idea is perfect for you! Simply call the radio station up and request this to happen for a couple of days later. Normally most radio stations will just do this for you, but some you may need to buy an ad in advance.
